Introduction
I'm Kristine, not very young now, and I live in the Philippines. I started this blog to document all my broadway-related experiences just in case I'll have amnesia or develop dementia. Growing up, I wasn't exposed much to the Arts nor was I ever into Arts. It's probably because I was more of a Mathematician and still am. I did learn how to play the piano at the age of 4 or 5, and pretty much gave up along the way which I deeply regret now. I've been part of our school choir, but that's just about it. Occasionally, my mom brought us to see a few musicals (Miss Saigon and Mamma Mia, to be exact) when we were younger, and all I can remember was falling asleep in the middle of it because I was just the sleepiest child and teen.
Years later, I had the opportunity to visit New York and see three broadway shows. Although I must say, there were seconds I thought I was blinking but IRL was dozing off because I was very tired. I promise I've very much enjoyed my experiences in those three shows - Mary Poppins, Wicked, and The Lion King, and I have been changed for good. That was when the seed was planted. It was the start of something blossoming - my love for musicals - just that I didn't know it.
Feel free to ask questions, and I'll try to answer what I can.

| This was our view, third row dead center, and it was amazing! |
| It was almost a sold out show, so it was definitely hard to book better seats. Glad we were able to buy tickets for Wicked on that trip. |
Truth be told, one of the main reasons why I decided to write about my experiences is because I want to help anyone, especially those residing in the Philippines, who has a thousand questions regarding broadway. I myself was just as clueless as a hibernating bear when I saw shows back in 2011. I didn't even know the existence of a stage door, which could've made my experience so. much. better. But I know better now, thank goodness! I've also seen and experienced how mean some crazy fans can be, so here I am, trying to write something useful and hopefully informative, so all our fangirl hearts will be happy and satisfied.
