Every Fangirl's Dream
What is your ultimate Broadway dream? For most people, it's to be able to perform on a BROADWAY stage, that's why Broadway debuts are so special. But for me who's obviously not a performer, my dream is to be able to stand on that same stage, not be a diva but be a dork while I get to see the behind-the-scenes. (Actually I don't mind if you ask me to guard the stage manager's booth and watch from there. Like who gets those perks?!) Yes, indeed, it is called a backstage tour. It is every fangirl's dream to be invited for a backstage tour. My first backstage tour was in 2014, during my brother's first trip to New York. Since it was his first time, we made sure he gets to visit most tourist spots while I managed to squeeze in a few shows. The surprise backstage tour was one of the most surreal moments of my life, and moreso because I don't even have pictures to prove it. It's probably why I should write about it, lest I forget.
